About MRCU

Evidence that can move from clinic, community and laboratory into policy and practice

MRCU is an applied health research institution anchored within the Mildmay Uganda Group. The centre builds on a research legacy that began under the Research and Strategic Information Directorate, then matured into an autonomous research entity incorporated in 2020.

Its work spans HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, mental health, public health emergencies, diagnostics, data science, research ethics and innovation translation.
